Link Farms
Submit your site to 10,000 web sites for $9.95?
Link farms are just pages full of links to other web sites, the search engines ignore them and so do most Internet users as they serve no real purpose other than to get your email address, when you make your submission, and bombard you with unsolicited emails (aka SPAM ). The theory behind link farms was that everything on that particular page pertained to a certain subject such as accommodation and the search engine would view them as a reputable source of finding web sites related to accommodation.
